A Macabre Treat

In a tiny village, on a narrow street, there sits a little store filled with petite treasures. Some are lovely, some are creepy, some are simply fascinating, all of them tell a story.

Kaas Glassworks in the West Village of Manhattan is a gateway into the unexpectedly beautiful world of antique and historical prints. Each piece is handmade and preserved under glass, the result is a whimsical collection of trays, plates, coasters and paperweights, in various sizes.

Whether you're buying something special for yourself, or a gift, there is no doubt that there is at least one piece that will speak to you.

In honor of Halloween here are some of Kaas' creepier works (logo watermark not on actual pieces)...

I own this one, it's sitting in my liquor cabinet!

Sweet dreams!
