Friday Favorites - Buffed and Polished

There are no boundaries with nail colors these days. Here are some of our favorites...

Laura's picks

You can never go wrong with a neutral nail if you are looking to evoke polish (no pun intended) and sophistication. These are among the prettiest shades I've found.

Deborah Lippmann Sarah's Smile - created in collaboration with Sarah Jessica Parker so obviously the most chicest neutral around

Essie Chinchilly - the perfect shade of warm grey, a nice complement to spring neutrals and brights alike

Chanel Intermezzo - a shiny perfect beautiful ivory shade to help you transition from winter to spring

Sybil's picks

Jaffa by Butter London

Gold Fiction by Chanel

Mint Candy Apple by Essie

Pink Flamenco by OPI

Leslie's picks

From the perfect red to putty gray, here is a color for every mood.

Downtown LA by American Apparel - The perfect red and an eco-friendly nail polish! free of DBP, toluene, and formaldehyde - three toxic chemicals that aren't good for people or the environment

Ballet Slippers by Essie - my all time, go-to, favorite for a neutral nail

Le Vernis Particulière (#505) by Chanel - The hottest thing to come off Chanel's runway since their Jade nail color for Fall 2009, this Spring 2010 color makes putty pretty

  1. I do have to say my go to color {nails} is a soft baby pink almost clear... Classic & simple! My go to for my toes are Hot apple red with a little vamp mixed in... Sexy {va va voom}! Thanks for sharing your picks!
