In my recent travels to South America, I had the honor of meeting Paola Raia and Fernanda Goeye, designers of the famous Brazilian brand, Raia de Goeye. They are not only fabulous designers of clothing, but their homes are just as breathtaking.

I was honored to have been invited to Paola’s son’s birthday party and I was obsessed with every detail (her home included). Here are some pics from that...

Paola has a casual style, wearing cut out drop armhole vest layered over a laced bikini bra (her signature) with little leather shorts, and Nike high tops. Fernanda's style is more dramatic, the night of the party she was wearing an amazing flowing white silk dress with over-sized draped sleeves and a zipper that went from her neckline to the floor. It was amazing getting to know both designers.

When we grow up we want to be Tiana Becker. World traveler, fashion industry veteran, style maven, and all-around girl about town, Tiana is truly living the fabulous life. I was so excited when “The Style Collective” asked me to be a guest on their blog. However, I had no idea what to write about and my A.D.D took over. I realized there is so much to talk about and too many things I love about fashion, travel and anything purely creative! So I am thankful to the girls for letting me share a small part of my passion. TRAVEL...

In anticipation and preparation for my trip to Brazil and Argentina I wanted to share some of the essentials I will take on my trip.

First, my travel bag...

On the plane...
Current Elliot destructed Jeans, an Alexander Wang tee, an over sized yummy Vince cardigan, comfy TOMS shoes, a good book and my I phone with the new People/Star magazine applications.

In Argentina...
It's spring, and we are visiting Buenos Aires and beaches in Uruguay for six days. It's warm during the day and cool at night, so I am packing easy silhouettes to wear with heels or some killer vintage boots I just bought at the Pasadena flea market.

In Brazil...
I imagine everyone looks like Giselle Bunchen. So hopefully I can find a way to look somewhat cute!


Other than that, I figure its pretty simple... Salinas, Salinas, Salinas. I will be shopping for more of these. I'm obsessed.

For a fabulous day drinking Caprinha's by the beach after a yoga class, shopping and an acai bowl, I will be packing this fun Stella dress... It seems so perfect for Rio!


There is so much more to put in my travel bag, but I have to leave room for all the shopping!!! Keep you posted.
