Europa!

I haven't been to Europe in years and lately I've been craving a getaway. It's tough to go too far with a 9 week old baby so until I get the chance I'll have to let these pictures transport me. Here's what would be on my itinerary...

A stay at the G Hotel in Galway Ireland

A bicycle ride down the best street in Paris - Rue Cler

A trip to the Herzog August Library in Wolfenbüttel, Germany

A romantic, candlelight cruise through Amsterdam

I like visiting old cemeteries (strange?) This one is in Bruges, Belgium

Friday Favorites - Spring Getaways

We say hold off on the Spring cleaning and get away to a fabulous local instead. Here our favorite Springtime escapes.

Laura's Pick...

With all the traveling my husband and I have been doing recently, a mini vacation at home sounds just about perfect. So San Diego is my pick for the perfect quick escape.

Stay - L'Auberge Del Mar

Recently renovated, this property is reminiscent of a seaside estate and always delivers a completely indulgent experience. The views are gorgeous, the rooms luxurious and the service totally personalized. Plan on an entire day in the seaside-themed spa.

Leslie's Pick...

Since I am still "on island" I'll have to say Oahu is my current fave for Spring-break destinations. This has been the ideal spot for our babymoon and here are some reasons why.

Stay - The Kahala

Eat - Sushi Sasabune

Sasabune means "trust me" and that's exactly what you'll have to do when you get the chef's choice menu. The best sushi experience you'll ever have!

Shop - Kalakaua Avenue in Waikiki

Known as "Luxury Row" this stretch of shops holds every style-junkies vices - Gucci, Prada, Chanel, etc. etc.
