A beautifully dressed bed is such a turn-on. Seriously, the higher the thread count, the harder my heart starts pounding. There is nothing more luxe then sleeping on the finest in Egyptian cotton, French silk, Italian linen or Tibetan cashmere.

The Cartier of luxury bedding. A small linen house based in New Orleans, they are best known for their couture products that are cut, sewn, and monogrammed to order.

Olatz

Created by artist Julian's wife, Olatz Schnabel’s eponymous linen collection is displayed in one of the most stylish bedding shops in existence. Her modernist Palermo collection is my favorite. Check out her crib sets, pajamas and bathrobes too.

Pratesi

At a small factory in Pistoia, just west of Florence, a specially trained team of artisans weave the finest cottons into fabric that is then sewn and embroidered by hand. The final product has been coined ‘Angel Skin’ because of the way it feels to the touch. Need I say more?
