Guest Stylist - Jetsetter Tiana Becker

When we grow up we want to be Tiana Becker. World traveler, fashion industry veteran, style maven, and all-around girl about town, Tiana is truly living the fabulous life. As a fashion merchandiser, Tiana brings her unique brand of laid-back glamour to everything she does and is constantly jetting off to dreamy locales to uncover new trends and source inspiration. Next on her itinerary? Argentina and Brazil. Before she jets off, we asked Tiana to give us a peek into her travel bag of must-haves for an unforgettable South American adventure.

I
was so excited when “The Style Collective” asked me to be a guest on their blog. However, I had no idea what to write about and my A.D.D took over. I realized there is so much to talk about and too many things I love about fashion, travel and anything purely creative! So I am thankful to the girls for letting me share a small part of my passion. TRAVEL...

In anticipation and preparation for my trip to Brazil and Argentina I wanted to share some of the essentials I will take on my trip.

First, my travel bag...
These Louis Vuitton pieces would be a dream...

On the plane...
Current Elliot destructed Jeans, an Alexander Wang tee, an over sized yummy Vince cardigan, comfy TOMS shoes, a good book and my I phone with the new People/Star magazine applications.
Tiana Travel - Plane Set

In Argentina...
It's spring, and we are visiting Buenos Aires and beaches in Uruguay for six days. It's warm during the day and cool at night, so I am packing easy silhouettes to wear with heels or some killer vintage boots I just bought at the Pasadena flea market.

In Brazil...
I imagine everyone looks like Giselle Bunchen. So hopefully I can find a way to look somewhat cute!

Other than that, I figure its pretty simple... Salinas, Salinas, Salinas. I will be shopping for more of these. I'm obsessed.

Also loving this new romper from Stella McCartney.

For a fabulous day drinking Caprinha's by the beach after a yoga class, shopping and an acai bowl, I will be packing this fun Stella dress... It seems so perfect for Rio!

There is so much more to put in my travel bag, but I have to leave room for all the shopping!!! Keep you posted.

Xoxo, Tiana

Coco Cocoon

Chanel has just given us one more excuse to book a fabulous weekend getaway this fall. Behold the Coco Cocoon collection of sleek travel bags, totes, and small accessory pieces. Aptly named, these bags are the perfect intersection of cozy puffer jacket and classic Chanel quilting and detailing. Trust me – if I could wrap myself up in Chanel handbags I would and clearly the creative team at Chanel is playing right into my obsession. The collection is available in washed lambskin (pricey) and lightweight nylon (attainable) and comes in a muted palette of grey, dark brown, taupe, navy, and black. As an added bonus each piece is reversible to the shade of quilted garnet from the original 2.55 bag. That’s right… two gorgeous Chanel bags for the price of one. Amen.

Available at Chanel stores this month.

The Cocoon online ad campaign has these great videos showing the versatility of the bags, like we really needed one more reason to love Chanel - now it's practical too!

Check out images from the new ad campaign (shot by the master himself Karl Lagerfeld) featuring Lily Allen channeling a very au courant Holly Golightly.

Thank you Chanel!
