Friday Favorites - Oh The Places We'll Go

'Tis the season for fabulous vacations and so today we bring you three places we're dreaming about visiting and with that... all the gorgeously appropriate clothing we'd like to bring along.

Laura's Pics...

Los Cabos When I’m in need of warm weather and a little pampering I head straight for Los Cabos. No, I’m not talking about the Cabo from your college days. No sweaty frat boys dancing to Sweet Home Alabama or tequila whistle shots here. I’m talking total privacy, luxurious accommodations, indulgent hospitality, and amazing food. Oh and don’t forget the private butler assigned to you upon check in. I’m not even going to talk about the sights, restaurants, or nightlife in Cabo because I promise once you step foot onto this resort, you won’t want to leave.

A stay at the One & Only Palmilla is an exercise in indulgence. Built in 1956 (and renovated in 2004), Palmilla was once the tropical hideaway for the likes of Hemingway and Harlow. As one of the most charming and sought-after resorts on the corridor, Palmilla has mastered the art of the holiday. The best part? Palmilla is offering special rates for November and December that are a fraction of the normal price.

Leslie's Spot...

One of the best things about Winter is the snow and all the cold-weather decadence that goes with it... wasting the day away by a roaring fire, hot chocolate, curling up under a blanket and watching old movies, playing board games, pretty much just staying put and not feeling guilty for it! There is no better place to indulge your hibernation than The Ritz Carlton Bachelor Gulch at Beaver Creek.

Sybil's Spot...

I'd head to a land full of vibrant colors and inspiration, the Kingdom of Bhutan in Southeast Asia, located at the eastern end of the Himalaya Mountains. While there I'd like to visit...

A Tsechu festival in which monasteries stage their own each week. I can only imagine the visuals and the meaning behind these colorful festivities.

Taktsang monastery (Tiger's Nest). An image and experience that will stick in one's mind forever no doubt.

Wangdiphodran Dzong and its local market.-My favorite thing to do when traveling is to check out the local markets and people. There is nothing like the smell, taste and texture to stroll along to in the morning sun...especially in a mystical land like Bhutan.
