Not long ago, I'd cruised past J.Crew with no more than a 2nd glance. With all due respect, it was a little too conservative and boring for me. But ever since Jenna took over and I came back to the USA to find the September catalog clutched in my hands... and drooling over the brilliant styling of mixing tweed, denim, sequins, suede, fur and leather, it has finally appealed to my maximalist brain. So have I changed or has J Crew? Coveting these looks for fall warmth with ultimate style and layering.
I've always been a sucker for a Britt so it's no wonder I have fallen totally in love with an online store from across the pond. I first found ASOS when I was looking for cool maternity clothes (surprisingly hard to find here in the ol' US) and I was floored by the great options, prices and quality. Below are a few of my purchases which have garnered numerous "Oh my gosh, where did you find that cute maternity ______ ?". The best part is, this store rocks for non-maternity as well. They have men's, shoes and accessories, and my new favorite, a kids department.

My Bali uniform is all about comfort. It's hot and I'm usually running around like a mad woman, on the beach shooting my lovely friends or running around with kids and armed with a list of errands. Light cotton tee shirt dresses are my favorite and they have to be short-check out Kate Moss Essentials line from Topshop! A big bag and some sandals as well as my favorite necklace from Tiffany's or This is Genevieve. My current favorite piece is my Anna Beck Java ring. To block out the sun though, I might throw on a long denim shirt over or a striped t-shirt crop top. And I never forget my Tom Ford or Cassius sunnies!
